Journalism Scholarship

Who is eligible to apply?
The scholarship is given to one graduating high school senior within the ABC 8 WMTW viewing area who plans on majoring in journalism or a related field in college. Student must complete an application, write an essay, provide high school transcript, and two letters of recommendation.
Scholarship amount:
$1,500
How are the scholarships awarded?
Applications are viewed and selected by a committee of ABC 8 WMTW staff, educators and community members.

On or after October 6 of the year prior to the award year.
What is the application deadline?
Completed application must be received by March 27 of the award year.
