Osher Scholarships
The University of Maine System is offering Osher Scholarships of up to $750 to encourage more Maine people of all ages to give college a try. If you have never completed a college course, an Osher Scholarship will allow you to take a course, including books and required materials, up to $750.
Who's Eligible?
You qualify for an Osher II Scholarship if you:

are a Maine resident,
-
are a high school graduate or GED recipient,
-
have never completed a college course,
-
will commit to completing a college course.
What Do Osher Scholarship II Awards Include?
Osher Scholarship II provides an award of up to $750 to be applied toward the following for one developmental, 100, or 200 level course:

tuition,
-
required books,
-
all fees associated with the course.
Courses are available at UMS campuses, at a University College Center; University College of Bangor; the Lewiston/Auburn Center; an Interactive Television (ITV) site or via the Internet.
